March 21, 1918 Arose 7 A.M. Stood watch, Forward Fire Control 8 A.M. to 12. Very foggy; Stood watch 8 P.M. to midnight; raining and foggy. Turned in 12.30.

March 20, 1918 Very cold weather. Sea calmed down somewhat. Ate breakfast of toast, coffee and pineapple. Feeling trifle better; very weak, but hungry. Stayed up all day and until 9 P.M.
