    race politics

    It’s always fascinated me to look at the stated goals of such politics and then the results.

    I find the voice of Walter Williams to be a powerful one in this arena.

    By the way, how ‘effin cool is a Raistlin Majere reference?

    • I am somewhat sympathetic to affirmative action programs based on socioeconomic status (i.e., the poor of any race), but am firmly against those based on race. In many cases these programs serve to benefit the children of well-to-do minorities rather than poor ones who could really use the help.
